Beit Guvrin

Branch

The Beit Guvrin branch is the veteran branch of the Mechina of Lachish. It is named in memory of Chief Inspector Yitav Lev HaLevi, a graduate of the Mechina who fell in the "Iron Swords" war.

The Mechina is situated in the pastoral Lachish region, nestled within green landscapes and open spaces that awaken the soul and create an ideal environment for growth in a warm, family-like atmosphere.

The branch's Beit Midrash serves as a fertile ground for intellectual depth, identity exploration, and creativity. The unique location allows for a profound connection to nature, history, heritage, and intimate kibbutz life on the one hand, while on the other—it offers a proximity to cities where significant social action is needed, providing our students with the privilege of being active partners of the community
